Keith Ablow, Fox News Doctor, Calls For 'American Jihad'

This kind of talk isn't funny. I see jokes being made and references to how this is like a Saturday Night Live skit. This is real, it is dangerous, and it is something that should be making people far more angry than they are now. Modern conservatism is becoming a full-fledged neo-facist platform,.

"Neofascism , political philosophy and movement that arose in Europe in the decades following World War II. Like earlier fascist movements, neofascism advocated extreme nationalism, opposed liberal individualism, attacked Marxist and other left-wing ideologies, indulged in racist and xenophobic scapegoating, and promoted populist right-wing economic programs. Unlike the fascists, however, neofascists placed more blame for their countries’ problems on non-European immigrants than on leftists and Jews, displayed little interest in taking lebensraum (German: “living space”) through the military conquest of other states, and made concerted efforts to portray themselves as democratic and “mainstream.” The National Front in France, led by Jean-Marie Le Pen, and the Liberal-Democratic Party in Russia, led by Vladimir Zhirinovsky, are often cited as neofascist."

The fascist elements of conservative is real. In the 1940s, the Business Plot (some say Prescott Bush, Senator of CT was involved) involved a group of unnamed conservative politicians trying to lead a military coup against Franklin Delano Roosevelt that would have unseated him from power and lay the ground works for a fascist remake of government. 

To modern Conservatives, anyone not like them is not a "patriot" or "un-American" if they disagree with conservative dogma. They oppose many aspects of the Constitution, such as the freedom of religion (unless it is Christian religion), the freedom of assembly (as seen by the attacks against the Occupy Movement), and the 4th Amendment (Against Unwarrented Search and Seizure). They attack ANYTHING other than extreme right-wing dogma as "socialism". They attack any non-Caucasian as the source of American ills (Mexicans, Spanish-Speakers, Muslims, Arabs, Feminists, etc). They promote radical right-wing economic programs such as tax cuts for the wealthiest among us and privatization of Social Security. 

James Waterman Wise, Jr., is reported to have said in a 1936 issue of The Christian Century that 

"If fascism comes, it will not be identified with any "shirt" movement, nor with an "insignia," but it will probably be "wrapped up in the American flag and heralded as a plea for liberty and preservation of the constitution."

It is time to stop accepting this Fox News propaganda as "funny" or "satirical" and time to start seeing it for what it is.. a true and honest attempt to overthrow our government through sedition and incitement so that the government, as we know it, cannot function the way it was designed by our Constitution.
